The Special Prosecutor, SPAK, has begun verification regarding the lobby contract signed by Albanian-American Nuredin Seci; the president of the continental Strategic firm LLC, Carlo Trujillo, a former adviser to US President Donald Trump; and by Democratic Party Secretary General, in the quality of beneficiary contract aimed at establishing relations with key actors in the United States government and congress.
For this lobby, in the contract signed on April 4th, it is scheduled to pay a fee of 250 thousand USD per month for a period of 24 months, totaling 6 million USD. Also, it is determined that at the moment of signing the fee must be paid for three months.
Under the contract, monetary values will be paid by a foundation represented by Nuredin Seci, while Albania's Democratic Party will be the beneficiary of the lobby service, will pay nothing.
The SPAK suggested Sunday that it has begun verifying this transaction and the legality of resources that finance the scheduled service in the contract. “The Special Procurory has started verifying about the political subject's lobby contract Democratic Party”, written in the SPAk-disposed notification of media through the Whatsapp app.
In the contract signed on March 30th, the lobbie company must provide services on account of Albania's Democratic Party, establishing relations with key actors in the US government; supporting to promote democracy, anti-corruption initiatives and government reforms in line with relations between the US and Albania; as well as the use of broad experience in relations with government, policy change, legal services and the inclusion of supporters in line with Albania's Democratic Party and the Coalition for Greater Albania, where they participated.
The Democratic Party reacted on Saturday after publishing the lobby contract, clarifying that the Albanian American community through the “Malke Albania Great Again” has contracted the “continental “>> company to help consolidate the Democratic Party's friendly relations as the largest opposition force with the US Congress and Government. According to the DP, the aim of fellow countrymen in the US is to co-operate with Albania's main ally to restore functional democracy and rule of law in Albania.
In the DP's announcement, it is suggested that the continental company is headed by Ambassador Carlos Trujillo, who is also known as President Trump's lawyer.
The financial contribution to the realisation of this goal has been undertaken 100% by Albanian patriots living and working for decades in the US, as well as other Democrats expelled from Albania these 10 years due to the regime of Edi Rama!”, the DP reported. /Periscope
