Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Donika Grovalla, in her address to the UN Security Council in New York, has asked the international community to seriously address Serbia's destabilising actions against the Republic of Kosovo.
At the same time, according to the MPJD Gervala, it has demanded that the international community prohibit the logic of denying and relating serious crimes that threaten peace and stability in the Balkans.
While speaking of the September 24th 2023 armed attack on Banjska, where police officer Africa Bounjaku lost his life, Grovalla has declared that '%ky was not just an isolated incident, but an act of planned aggression based in Serbia and carried out by paramilitary groups led by terrorist Milan Radojic, a person close to the Serbian political elite.
Call this a serious security link, as described by the report UNMIK, it is an open distortion of reality. It was a clean act of sponsored aggression, armed and supported by Serbia. It was state terrorism. It was a war act”, Gervala expressed itself.
The minister has also reportedly stressed the November 29th 2024 attack on the Iber-Lepenc Canal, an attack targeting critical civilian infrastructure and endangering the lives of thousands of citizens.
Gervala has declared Serbia has refused to co-operate in investigations, despite its public statements.
It is also known that she has criticised UNMIK's report, naming the same as unilateral and in disparity with reality on the ground.
“U n NMIC is no longer hurting Kosovo, is undermining the credibility of the United Nations. Unlike other UN agencies who are real partners, U n NMIC has become an obstacle to the truth”, she has declared.
Calling on the international community for justice, Gervala has demanded that Serbia hand over Kosovo authorities Milan Radocicin and other members of the terrorist group, and stop state support for criminal structures in Kosovo.
“In closing, the minister has declared that the Republic of Kosovo is a consolidated democracy, that respects the rights of all communities and is the model for stability in the region. However, it has added, without justice and exact appointment of crimes, peace will remain fragile”, she said.. /Periscopi/
