The lack of the necessary majority for its vote has deepened the political crisis, unable to modernise the legislature's full functionality and thus postpone the formation of institutions in the country.
Bosniak MP Emilja Rexhepi, while speaking of the political situation, has voiced support for Albulen Hadziu's candidacy for Kosovo Parliament Speaker, stressing that as the winning party, Vetevendosje Movement (LVV) has the legitimate right to propose its candidate, until it says no one should mix in the internal affairs of a political party and that, according to her, this is an opportunity to advance institutional processes, it broadcasts Periscope.
“The LVV, as the winning party in the elections, has the legitimate right to propose its candidate for Parliament Speaker and I think that none of us should be involved in the internal affairs of a political party”, Rexhepi told FrontOnline.
She stressed that Haxhiu is a good candidate and will always vote on him.
For me personally, Albulen is a good candidate and will always vote for”, she said.
MP Rexhepi called for Hadzi's vote by all MPs at today's session.
I think we should all do this tomorrow and pave the way for the formation of other institutions, and morally we are responsible for the citizens who have given us their trust,” she said
In the end, Rexhepi warned that unless a solution is reached for forming institutions, another option will be the new elections.
“Otherwise I see no choice but the new” elections, it concluded.
