Pristina Chairman Progress Rama has announced that the municipality he is leading has made criminal remarks to the Inspectorate for Cultural Heritage inspector, Pacim Zogaj, writes. Periscope.
In a communiqué to the media, Rama said the government is putting them on hold in all projects in the capital.
“During our government mandate, we have repeatedly sought opportunities of co-operation to work in the interests of Pristina citizens. However, our efforts, in effect, have been hampered by government structures, which for political reasons and narrow interests have blocked the implementation of vital projects for the city, even violating the law!

All transformation projects that we have started in the capital have been blocked and banned by central government authorities. All major projects, no exception!
During our government mandate, we have repeatedly sought opportunities to work in the interests of Pristina citizens. However, our efforts have been constantly hampered by government structures, which for political reasons and narrow interests have blocked the implementation of vital projects for the city, even violating the law!
In this situation, we have been forced to take necessary legal steps!
The Pristina municipality's legal team has launched procedures on those who have contributed to the blocking of projects! We have initiated criminal proceedings against the Inspector of the Cultural Heritage Inspectorate for actions contrary to law and public interest!
We will act with the same path and determination towards any person who dares break the law and affect the future of Pristina citizens! Our citizens deserve a developed city, and we will fight every means we have available to provide them with this future!
