Prime Minister Edi Rama has sent a message to Socialist Party candidates on the eve of the elections, instructing them to respect the red lines of the campaign. In his message, Rama has stressed that MPs should not open offices outside the area assigned to them by political leaders and that the campaign should focus only on number 5 on the open list of voting.
Rama has stressed: “No MP should open his offices outside the zone designated by the political leader. Each MP is free to hold meetings wherever he wishes, but in no way should he use the structure for his meetings, nor to make meetings with the structure outside the area defined by the political leader. ”
He has also demanded that those on the closed list not direct the preferential vote for their colleagues. “Deputes on the closed list should not formally seek votes for any MP on the open list, but only for number 5, and everyone should say: To preferential votes, you're free! ” stressed Rama.
According to him, it is a way to avoid conflicts within the team and preserve the equality of the race among candidates. “Deputes on the open list is not good to ask colleagues on the closed list in the respective area, as the first puts them in a difficult position; the second push them towards breaking the equality of the race; and the third leads the structure! ”/Periscopi/
