Kosovo Assembly Chairman-in-Office Glauk Konjufca has declared that he will not allow the government to be placed in an inappropriate position by the demands of non-party communities.
Konjufca has said that it must distinguish between demands, needs and conditions, and that Kosovo does not accept the conditions.
According to him, all those demands which in their assessment come beyond the reasonable strains of what is the legal and constitutional context will be unacceptable.
I think communities not the majority will be part of the government. Some of them have had different demands, but I think we should distinguish between demands, needs and conditioning. Kosovo does not accept the conditions. All that is expressed as demands by various representatives of communities that in our assessment come out beyond the reasonable strains of what is the legal and constitutional context for us will be impossible, if not unacceptable. So what we're aiming at is that by respecting their interests and rights that they have but always with an effort to provide a program that enhances their achievements we'll sit down and talk with them, but not on the basis of some principle which for the benefit of the moment or with pompous demands that the government be placed in an inappropriate position as I see any of these representatives of the” communities, he said in an interview for the “debate report in Twe Transmitt Periscope.
Otherwise, party chairman “The DSU”, Duda Balje, in exchange for voting for the government by incumbent Prime Minister Albin Kurti has requested a Bosniak municipality within the Republic of Kosovo.
