US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melanie Trump have left Rome aboard Air Force One.
The two left soon after the burial mass ended up in the Vatican, writes CNN, broadcasts Periscope.
On Friday, before leaving for Rome, Trump told reporters at the White House that the funeral “would be very interesting”.
“We will meet with many foreign leaders they want to meet”, Trump said, with countries worldwide facing the punitive tariffs the American president decided earlier this month.
Trump met briefly with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in St Peter's Basilica. The duo was also photographed with French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
