Conform the decision by the president of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, the Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo, gathered today at the session for the institution of the Ninth Legislastra.
The session began works under the direction of the legislature's oldest deputy, Avni Dehari (VV), assisted by the youngest MP, Sala Jashari (PDK).
Ambassadors and other representatives of diplomatic missions in our country were present at the session.
The head of the session, Dehari, initially congratulated MPs on the possibility of representation of citizens during this mandate, and welcomed the ambassadors and other guests present, proceeding later on the agenda.
Proposals for forming the interim Commission for verifying quorum and MP mandates were presented next. Political parties proposed by a member of this commission, who received the support of the Assembly.
After the provisional Commission's meeting for verification of quorum and MPs' mandates, MP Artan Abashi submitted the report to the commission, under which this report to the commission has passed by majority of votes.
After the report's presentation, the chairman, Dehari, voted it out. The provisional Commission's report for verifying quorum and MP mandates did not receive enough deputies' votes for approval. Thus, 52 MPs voted for the report, 46 voted against, while 11 abstained.
Under these circumstances, and after a consultation with representatives of political subjects, Chief Dehari announced the end of the session in order to announce the president of further steps./Periscopi/
