A week ago, Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has called on political parties to submit their proposals for new members of the Central Election Commission (KQZ). All parties have carried out this obligation except Vetevendosje, Periscopi reports.
As Periscopi learns from his sources, Vetevendosje has not yet sent names, which under the Law parliamentary/political groups/subjections within the 7th) days deadline send their proposals and the president's appointment is made within five (5) days of submitting proposals.
We remember that in past term Vetevendosje, members in the CEC had Alban Krasniqi and Sami Kurteshi.
Sami Kurteshi on the brink of retirement, there is no right to be renamed a member of the CEC
Meanwhile, the PDK's names for members of the CEC are: Arian Elshani and Ilir Gashi.
