Police arrest one person in Mitrovica, suspected of a series of serious criminal acts

The Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo, in co-operation with the Kosovo Police, has today detained a person suspected of some serious criminal acts that violate constitutional order and public safety.

After the arrest, with the aim of securing evidence, another search has been conducted in the suspect's residence. During the raid, material evidence has been seized as follows:

751 grams of suspected narcotic substance

292 grams of sarcotics

207 grams of narcotic substance in metal tray

A small scales for measuring amount of narcotics

Regarding equipment for cryptova peace, Kosovo Customs and relevant police units will take further action.

The prosecutor of the case will propose to the court within legal terms the measure of security for the defendant's presence in criminal procedure.
