Croatia's prime minister, Andrej Plenkov, in an interview for France 24 has also talked about the security and political situation in the Western Balkan region.
Plenkovic, has said that the situation currently ruling in the region should be discussed at the European Council's upcoming meeting, Express reports, broadcast Periscopi.
The head of the Croatian government has said that at a time when strong demonstrations have been marked in some Balkan countries, and where Russian influence is present, it is very necessary to assess the situation in the Western Balkans at the future European Council”.
He has mentioned Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Albania and Northern Macedonia, which, according to him, “are willing to speed up their EU integration”.
However, he calls for caution, since there is a political situation that needs attention.
