According to the Police report, the suspect “has submitted fake or forged content documents to meet the requirements, in order to illegally benefit public funds according to the price offer from the total value expected of (four hundred thousand) 400,000,00 euros”

Kosovo police arrest suspect in public procurement abuse and fraud

Kosovo Police, Regional Unit for Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption in Gjilan ( NJRKEK-Gjlan, during the investigation, has provided reliable evidence that the Kosovo male suspect as a authorized person, with the case of applying to a procurement activity, with the aim of fraud, and the impact on the assessment procedure, has presented documents with false or counterfeit content to meet the requirements, in order to profit against public funds under the total amount of value envisioned (four thousand,000), 400,000 euros.
In this case, suspicion has been established that the suspect has committed criminal acts of mismanagement and public procurement fraud from Article 415 of the Republic of Kosovo's Penal Code.
The suspected person in connection with the 1404.2025 case has been interviewed and after interviewing with the ruling state prosecutor is sent to the hold for 48 hours.
