Recent developments in the country, including the security situation in Kosovo and the region, were discussed at the meeting. Speaking of the security situation and developments in this area, President Osmani stressed Serbia's continuing trends in destabilising Kosovo and the entire region through well-coordinated actions with illegal structures and Serbian criminal gangs.
President Osmani discussed with Mrs. Prattipati for yesterday's arrest of Serbian citizens in Gjakova and Prizren, who claimed to be on pilgrimage. But, the investigations thus far have shown that these groups had connections with Serbian military intelligence structures, as well as with members of Banjska's terrorist group.
The president stressed that the move is part of an ongoing effort by Serbia to destabilise Kosovo, through threats and violence.
According to the President, this constitutes an unacceptable intervention in the state sovereignty of the Republic of Kosovo.
Furthermore, President Osmani staunchly condemned these desaliating and unacceptable acts, stressing that Kosovo will not tolerate any intervention that endangers peace, constitutional order and the security of all its citizens, without any affiliation. She thanked all security institutions for the country's defence work and discussed with Mrs. It was about continued co-operation with the US in this regard.
