President Vjosa Osmani hopes that on Tuesday the Kosovo Assembly will be constitutionalised and elected by the government because, according to her, the country needs to move faster on important issues.
One of them, according to President Osmani, is the tariff to the United States of America, which she has asked to be removed as soon as possible. This case coincided with “impact” between the government on the run and the presidents.
“I very much hope that on April 15th we will have the constitution, elections of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, that we will immediately begin with important jobs for our country. I mentioned the issue of the fee, which is one of the big topics the Parliament would have to deal with immediately. But we have a number of international agreements which if we cross over to the Assembly like Kosovo, I am not there in the assembly to vote, but I call on parties to do so because Kosovo remained hostage to the approach, in the European Union's growth plan, which is benefiting Albania and other states”, President Osmani said in an interview in Rubik.
Osmani said that even the voting process in the Council of Europe, many states can connect with the new government, but there is no basis for that. According to her, such an agreement does not need ratification.
The Council of Europe as you know the vote is in May and there are states that want to link it to a new government vote. Now in the constitutional aspect there is no need to bind such a thing because, as you know, government competencies are not limited, we do not need to ratify that agreement in the” assembly, Osmani said.
Meanwhile, in terms of the country's process of new recognitions, President Osmani says it cannot be blocked as the cause of government failure soon, as he says this process is guided by the institution it represents.
The president is leading foreign policy, however, the states when they want to find an excuse to suspend many important processes for us even make them economic issues, whether they have to do with membership in international organisations. The recognition process does not stop because as a presidency we mainly carry communication with states, but nevertheless memberships, applications of the other many can, of course, bear consequences when there are no quick institutions, so it remains in hopes that this process will be completed quickly”, Osmani said further./Periscopi/
