It becomes known that of the judges decreed, 12 are women and eight men.
During the oath-in-law ceremony before President Osmani, the new judges pledged that they would stick to the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Kosovo, respect the professional ethics and carry out their duty with integrity, professionalism and impartiality, it is said further in the announcement.
Osmani stressed that the construction of a successful and democratic state is possible only through an independent and functional justice system, and noted that the integrity and professionalism of judges are the main pillars for guaranteeing equality before the law and for strengthening citizens' confidence in the institutions of justice. /Periscopi/
