President Vjosa Osmani has met with Kenya's Foreign Minister Musalia Mudawadi in Turkey, where she went to attend a forum.
Osmani said he has thanked him for the decision to recognise Kosovo's independence, while he said he has spoken to him about the areas of co-operation between the two countries.
She said these would concreteise during a visit she warned to Kenya.
After the historic decision to recognise Kosovo from Kenya, in Turkey I met with Kenya's Foreign Minister, the Chief Secretary of the Presidential Cabinet, Mr. Musalia Mulad, whom I once again thanked for this important step, which contributes to peace and long-term stability in our region. We discussed areas of co-operation with common interest, which we will demonstrate during our official visit to Kenya and along our common route as allies and partners”, she wrote.
Kenya recognised Kosovo's independence last month, thus becoming the 118th state to recognise Kosovo. /Periscope
