The Democratic Party and coalition “Alliance for Greater Albania” are the first to open the campaign with a major rally in Teresa “Square, where the main stage is being built. Meanwhile, unlike other times, the Socialist Party today holds meetings in all 12 counties with women a category that the SP considers the foundation of electoral support, but also important parts of representation in politics. The SP's official campaign opens on 12 April at 12:00, as symbolic of the 12 European Union stars, the destination which Socialists place at the centre of their programme with the slogan: “Albania 2030 in the EU”.
Even Lulzim Basha will launch the campaign on 12 April, an hour before the Socialists, under the logo of the Euro-Atlantic coalition, seeking to maintain an independent profile by faction Berisha.
In this race, each coalition has 186 candidates for MPs, according to the new election formula: 140 from the open list and 46 from the closed list. /Periscope/
