He has named Vetevendosje Movement the sole responsibility for the situation, while expressing concern about the way the Constitution is being interpreted by persons who, according to him, are misusing their public authority.
“For failing to restore the sole responsible Assembly is the Vetevendosje” Movement, Mustafa said.
He did not spare criticism even for figures appearing as constitutional experts who, according to him, are deliberately distorting the meaning of the Constitution:
“I also see as responsible those who are called to be connoisseurs of the Constitution (even if they say they're writers) and fertilize it in interpretation”, He added.
Mustafa stressed that the division between the powers is very clear and prevents one person from exercising two state functions simultaneously:
Our constitutional system is completely clear, no one can at the same time have legislative and executive powers; be both deputy and minister; be both the Parliament and the Government”, Says Mustafa, broadcast Periscope.
He also referred to the Law on Government, accusing Vetevendosje of selective and biased behavior to the law:
“Law on Government, which requires that incumbent government officials who are elected MPs, should resign before the results are certified, says that this party and this government bring laws to violate themselves and persecute others. ”
According to Mustafa, the rejection of the vote in the Assembly was not aimed at blocking institutions, but respecting constitutional standards and replacing those who could not exercise two functions:
The “those who voted against it were not for the country to remain in the government vacuum, but they clearly said that those who receive the MP's mandate cannot return to government offices. That means they must first be replaced. ”
In the end, he recalled that Kosovo has had positive practices in the past, when the Constitution is respected without compromise:
Kosovo's “has good experiences when it's not violating Constitution”, Mustafa for Blic concluded.
