Negovan Mavric said this is the first day without the presence of Bajram Qerkeyn, who fought for all those missing.

“Today is the first meeting without the presence of the one who has dedicated his life to missing persons. He fought not just for his own son, but for everyone. 1600 families are looking for loved ones who do not know their fate and together we look for their fate in Belgrade, even in Kosovo”, Mavriq said.

Gordana Dikanovic from the Kosovo organisation “Victimat” stressed the need not to forget the missing, while parents and their mates are separated from life without knowing the truth.

Baki Svirica from the Ministry of Justice said Kosovo should not be an obstacle to finding missing persons.
