Memli Krasniqi meets with several France deputies, calls for lifting punitive measures

Chairman PDK, Memli Krasniqi, has hosted a delegation of France's Parliament deputies today, which included Mrs. Marine Hamlet from the National Rassemble (RN), Mr. Frédéric Petit from Groupe Démocrate (MODEM), Mr. Pierre Pribetitch from the Socialist Party (PS), and Mr. Jean-Louis Roumégas of the Écologist et Social Group, accompanied by French Ambassador [...]
Chairman Krasniqi has expressed his deep and PDK gratitude for the firm support France has given Kosovo over all these years and continues to offer, especially in efforts for European integration.
Regarding political developments in the country, Krasniqi has stressed the urgent need for the formation of new and functional institutions that will serve the interests of citizens. He stressed the importance of addressing sensitive issues such as the high cost of living, economic development and Euro-Atlantic integration.
Furthermore, Mayor Krasniqi called for the removal of punitive measures imposed by international partners, who, according to him, are burdening the well-being of citizens and the economy. He called for continued support from France for advancing Kosovo's candidacy for membership in the European Union and for encouraging non-recognising states to recognise Kosovo's independence.
In the end, he stressed the PDK's commitment to the road to Europe, in co-operation with allies and Kosovo citizens.
