Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Memli Krasniqi has celebrated today with deep respect the 26th anniversary of the April 9th 1999 massacre, where 28 martyrs and 32 innocent martyrs victim to the brutal violence of the Serbian regime in the New Quarter and Racan's Racoc.
On this day of mourning and pride, we bow with honor to the memory of the martyrs and martyrs of the New Quarter and Raccot. The memory of them is not only moral obligation, but the passports that force us not to forget and stop on the path of justice, dignity and development of our country,” Krasniqi said.
He added that the PDK would always be in the forefront of efforts to keep the memory of the fallen alive and to advance the vision of a free, developed and democratic Kosovo as they dreamed.
“The Democratic Party of Kosovo remains committed to preserving liberation war values and in the permanent respect of those who sacrificed their lives for their homeland”, it concluded.
