It is brought into handcuffs by a 24-year-old who was trafficking from the US to Albania, high-level THC narcotics.
About 3.6kg of suspected narcotics cannabis are seized at a high percentage of THC, worth 50,000 euros.
The Department for Investigation of Narcotics, in co-operation with the DVP Operational Task Force Tirana, the Rinas Police Commissioner and Philialin the Albanian Post Transition Centre, as a result of investigations conducted by pro-active methods, in the direction of the Prosecutor's Court of the First Court of General Juryction Tirana, has finalised another phase of the operation “Detin<1>, against criminal trafficking activities of narcotics, through the postari.
As a result of the police operation, codenamed “Destination 5”, citizen F was arrested. V., 24, resident in Tirana.
This citizen was apprehended inflict by police services at a postal branch, receiving a package of about 3.6kg of suspected narcotics cannabis, with high-rate THC, allegedly trafficked by the US.
Investigations are under way for full documentation of this criminal activity, identification and capture of other suspected citizens involved.
