“la again stressed how important France is to Serbia's democratic and European future”, France's President Emmanuel Macron starts as he shared details from the meeting with Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vuciq.
Macron said he has also discussed normalising relations between Serbia and Kosovo. “France is deeply committed to this process. This is an essential condition for their European integration”.
“I expressed confidence in Serbia's ability to find the path of dialogue again, and I hope the future government will go on decisively with expected reforms and consolidate very good economic results”, the French president says.
“I stressed our commitment to the European integration of Western Balkan countries. We discussed the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I thought of our firm support for the unity of that country as well as our condemnation of any action intended to question this unity. It is the responsibility of all to engage in respect to constitutional order so that Bosnia and Herzegovina can return to its European path”, maron shows details from this meeting.
