Quite unbelievablely, incumbent Defence Minister Ejup Macedonia lied in an interview, using the name of a friendly state like Bulgaria, saying they would join Balkan Alliance, something Bulgaria's MPJ reacted by exposing it.
Citaku has called it diplomatic and harmful amateur action, especially when it is considered that lies were committed on behalf of a NATO member state like Bulgaria.

Frankly, if they were not so harmful to the State, they would simply be sorry.
The acting defence minister comes out and speaks on behalf of Bulgaria, a NATO member state and the European Union, then forcing that friendly state to publicly undermine its declaration.
That's irresponsible at the highest level.
Diplomatic and political amate that shames the country.
Such actions are not only irrational but also harmful to our international reports and to the credibility of the state.
