So announced Interior Minister Jhelal Svechla.
The first group, according to him, made up of four people, was banned in Gjakova. Meanwhile, 12 other people were detained in Prizren.
Those arrested travelled to four cars with Kraguyevci plates in Serbia. During the raid, evidence has been found linking these persons to Serbian military intelligence structures and members of the terrorist group that participated in the armed attack on Banjska.
Among the evidence seized are photographs with the map of Kosovo, images of killed members of Banjska's terrorist group, two knives, one axe and a rotary light.
The detention of four people in Gjakova has also reported Kosovo Police, but also in the announcement of the Kosovo Security Council meeting held Sunday, the case has been mentioned.
Those arrested in Gjakova are: Branko Rakiq, with residence in northern Mitrovica, Nemanja Vamokkiq, Novi Sad Police Lieutenant Pavle Kragovic, Belgrade-based Milovan Stevic, captain and Serb Army residential agent in northern Mitrovica.
Task Minister Svecla, meanwhile, claimed that the 12 people detained in Prizren, “were being accommodated at the Bogoslavi Orthodox Seminari”.
“Even in this group were two active officers of Serbian security services”, Svecla said, broadcast Periscope.
The minister disclosed that one of the detainees has been identified as a relative of the top suspect in the murder of Africa Buxnjak, Vladimir Radivojevicq, known as “Mama”.
Meanwhile, the other banned official is a first-class Serbian Army captain, who, according to Svecla, is linked to former Serbian military intelligence general Jovan Milanovic.
These men have been detained for 48 hours at the order of the prosecutor.
The arrest of Serbs in Prizren: 10 released and two detained, faked as members of MUPH
Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti has raised the alarm that Serbia is continuing efforts to prevent the formation of new institutions stemming from the February 9th 2025 parliamentary elections, affecting some MPs from non-Serb communities.
He stressed that Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, has made Serbian List and Milan Radojicicic's resources and state means to realise that effect.
Serbia's “President Vuciq has made available the state resources and resources for this Serbian List and chief terrorist Milan Radojic, who in Banjska's criminal and terrorist aggression on 24 September 2023 was deputy chairman of the Serbian List, and is now de facto chairman of this political subject. The target is several non-Serb minority deputies”, Kurti wrote.
And the Regional Director of Police in Gjakova, Lumni Graste, shared Facebook photo of the map found and praised the police officials' commitment to preventing a possible operation with suspicious background.
This time again, like many times before, boys and girls who faithfully serve their homeland triumphed in the face of Serbian state criminal structures... The endless grateful pride for each DPS police officer and police officer for their alertness and commitment to the service of the homeland” has written, among other things, Graish.
We remember that of the 12 Serbs arrested in Prizren, 10 were released, while two were detained for false presentations as members of the MUP.
So has police spokesman for the Prizren region Vesel Gashi, who has indicated that the case has been revealed following operational-ethicial actions undertaken by the investigation sector in Prizren.
These developments are also promoted by the Diocese of Raska and Prizren, which indicated that the media taught people who had been Seminari's guests at night, stressing that
The church cannot have knowledge of who all pilgrims are attending services or even this seminar.
“Any insinuations that the persons mentioned, staying in the Seminar police's guest part, are allegedly exploiting the religious establishment for camouflage and inciting interethnic and religious tensions in Kosovo, as stated in today's Kosovo Police communiqué, is completely irresponsible and does not rely on concrete facts”, Dioceza Raska and Prizren said.
On the other hand, Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, said the banned persons had gone to visit the Theological Seminari and monasteries around Prizren.
“Imagine, some of these people are also members of security structures, and then they've been found, say, a knife and a broken axet it's completely clear that they don't serve anything but for any private use and personal need”, Vuciq said.
The case has restored concern for security in border areas and possible activities of groups linked to Serbian illegal structures. Kosovo police have assured that they will proceed with increased vigilance and deepening investigations.
