In statements reported by the French media, she has said it is dedicated to “protecting the French people, who have the right to vote on anyone they want”.
Le Pen has compared the verdict against her to a “nuclear bomb” issued by “system”, arguing that “if they use such a powerful weapon against us, this is because we're close to winning the” elections.

Comments Le Pen has made several hours after statements by the president of the National Rally, and now the potential candidate for the upcoming presidential election, Jordan Bardella, who has called for peaceful “mobile”, with protests and distribution of tracts scheduled this weekend to come up in Le Penny's arms.
Bardell added that an electronic campaign, launched last night, has collected “hundreds of thousands of thousands of” signatures, and that other activities are expected in the days ahead.
Le Pen, has been sentenced Monday for embezzlement of European Union funds to finance its National Rally party.

Eight deputies of her 24th party have also been convicted along with her.
