Speaking at a media conference in Moscow, Russia's Foreign Affairs Minister Sergey Lavrov did not give an exact date for the meeting, but mentioned President Vladimir Putin asked him and Defence Minister Andrey Belousov for a briefing on progress in talks with the US on the Ukraine issue, AA broadcast.
Lavrov stressed that Russia and the US are currently focused on three themes, respectively, on resolving the conflict in Ukraine currently dealing with a mortorium on attacks targeting energy infrastructure, restoring the Sea Brain Initiative and removing <x0 editors” in bilateral ties, Euronews reports,
According to the chief of Russian diplomacy, these <x0 editorring” significantly obstruct the operation of the Russian Embassy in Washington and the American Embassy in Moscow, follows Periscope.

Lavrov said the “problems of embassies” date back to the 2009-2017 Barack Obama administration, directly ahead of Donald Trump's first term.
“I refrain from predicting, obvious progress has been achieved, reflecting our American partners' determination to eliminate these completely unacceptable obstacles to normal diplomacy functioning in each other's capitals”, he said.
On February 27th, Russian and US delegations met at the US General Consulate residence in Istanbul to discuss operations of their respective embassies within the framework of bilateral efforts.
