Albin Kurti, ahead of the cabinet that would have to resign so far, has found words to accuse the opposition, as the latter did not vote on the extradition of MPs.
He has said opposition is calling for suspension of state, followed by Periscope.
“Constitution of the Parliament yesterday was unable because opposition parties P DK, LDK, Serbian List and AAK did not vote for verification of mandates. Those who refused to formally receive the MP's mandate are asking me to formally not be prime minister. We are in office and effectively resigned since March 23rd, when we have completed the full and regular mandate of four years. From that day to the new legislature, our government exercises all responsibilities in accordance with the legislation in power”, Kurti has said as he added that the government's status has been announced by letter as well as the head speaker.
It's not possible to resign. More than that, it would be to abandon institutions”, he said as he called the opposition's call “premature”, aimed at “to leave the house without a home owner”.
