Outgoing Prime Minister Albin Kurti will attend the modern funeral of Pope Francis in Rome.
“Prime Minister-in-chief of the Republic of Kosovo Albin Kurti has travelled to the headquarter of Italy, Rome, to participate in His Holiness's burial ceremony, Pope Francis”, said at the announcement of the Prime Minister's Office.
President Vjosa Osmani is staying in Rome from Kosovo.
She and Albanian President Bajram Begaj and Albania's only cardinal, Ernest Simon, also paid tribute to Pope Francis, for “expressed respect for our citizens for his inspiring devotion to peace, harmony and human dignity worldwide”. /Periscopi
