Krasniqi has indicated that in the 2019 elections, the Vetevendosje Movement had emerged the first party, winning 29 mandates.
“Although there was no agreement for co-governance with any other political party, the Assembly by 75 votes had elected Glauk Konjufka for Parliament Speaker. Later, after the agreement between the VV and LDK, Konjufca had resigned to free the country Vjosa Osmanit”, he wrote.
It has shown that the 2019 case may still be a survey in 2025.
This case from Kosovo's parliamentary history may still be relevant, when the first party has the will for the institution and offers a consensual candidate, though it does not have enough votes. Even now, there are parties that have expressed readiness to vote on other candidates from VV ranks. It is up to the latter to make its choice: continue the blockade, or give the Parliament its Chairman”, Krasniqi wrote.
