It is a pleasure to meet United Kingdom Secretary of Foreign Affairs David Lammy today. His visit confirms the continued support of the United Kingdom for Kosovo, especially at this time when we remember the past and friends who stood next to us in our struggle for liberation.
The UK has always played a direct role in the key processes for Kosovo, and we want to see it continue this commitment.
Secretary Lami informed him of the vision of the Democratic Party of Kosovo to take responsibility in forming the new government, under the leadership of Bedri Hamza, with clear targets for economic development, recovery and strengthening of relations with strategic partners and advancing Euro-Atlantic integration.
