Krasniqi through a post on the social network Facebook has said the Constitutional Court has interpreted that the right to propose the Speaker of the Parliament belongs to the political subject with the largest number of MPs after the elections.
“However, it has not determined whether this right remains valid even if the subject does not represent a candidate. We remember that in 2014, The PDK had nominated Agim Ali as the candidate for Parliament Speaker. The blockade of institutions is not allowed by the Constitution, as was not allowed monopoly in the case of the mandate proposal for Prime Minister”, he has written, Periscopi reports.
Krasniqi has also indicated in detail the interpretation by the Constitutional Court.
“A right that is not provided, loses. Therefore, an interpretation by the Constitutional Court on the situation when no candidate is nominated within a reasonable deadline should not be avoided the possibility of meeting another political subject that has the number to give to Parliament Speaker”, he said. /Periscope/
