Kosovo lawyer: Behind trial at The Hague Special Court lies Serbia

He has complained about the use of the term “Kosovo and Metohija” term used by Serbia ʹ on the part of the prosecutor's official.

The Specialised Prosecutor's Office has acknowledged that using this term has been a mistake and has stressed that it is not part of the prosecutor's standard practice. After that, the Office has confirmed that the measures will be taken to ensure that this error is not repeated in the future.

However, Ombudsperson has rejected the complaint, considering there was no violation of human rights.

Lawyer Ardian Bajraktari has commented on the case, voicing deep doubts about the objective of the judicial process, reports Dukagini, broadcast Periscope.

He has stressed that this incident covers close ties between Serbian authorities and the SPS.

The first “, I have the impression that it's not random. Of course it is unacceptable, it is denigration of the Republic of Kosovo. But what I publish is two elements in my extremely important conviction. The first one: it scatters that behind this compromised process lies Serbia's foot forward. We have followed not a few cases when the prosecutor and chief Serbian prosecutor have said they are behind this process. And this is witnessing four percent.

And so does the other element: the fact that it has confirmed it as a violation, the ombudsman operating under this court and takes no action. This questions the objective of both the treatment and the whole process. For the fact that, as it is known within the complete specialized rooms the function of the entire camera, from the first chamber court to the Supreme Court of Constitution. So is the ombudsman institution. This issues a serious issue, through these actions, are evidence that these rooms are not sufficiently objective in handling the issue for which they are mandated. I estimate that this should be an alarm for institutions, so that more co-ordinated all the acters can gradually become a mechanization that establishes justice. It is revealing that this process remains Serbian authority and testifies to the lack of professionalism”, Bajraktari has said.

Likewise, Jevdet Qariqi, representative of the KLA Veterans' Association, has commented on the use of the term, saying that using that term has not been a coincidence but a sign of close co-operation between SPS and Serbia authorities.

Every day and day, this prosecution is running out, and it's witnessing what we've said they're co-operating closely. And every action they take is in co-ordination with Serbia's organs. So even this language that used it, to remember that time of the Balkan butcher, who used it against us as Kosovo and Metohija. It reminds you that this is not by chance used by this language. It's close cooperation. And it's not enough for them not to use any emblems, any logo of the state of Kosovo. With evidence gathered by the criminal state, there are all of their factory-stained efforts, with false evidence, the KLA fight”, Curriqi said.
