Uncertainty and fear have taken on enormous proportions, as both institutions have threatened citizens with drastic measures, including the possibility of sending matters into the hands of the publishers. But in an effort to end this dilemma, Pristina municipality spokesman Donat Lushaku said there will be no penalties for those who have paid the bills, no matter whom those vehicles have sent them to.
On the other hand, the company “Cleaning”, views Pristina municipality guidelines as illegal actions that cost this company losses for over 2m euros. Despite statements by capital officials, this company again stresses that those who have not paid them will be sent to the owner.
“Those who do not pay waste fees from January 2025th from now will be prosecuted at the Private Masters. This was done by relying on the legal definitions of the Law for the Final Procedure, Article 29, paragraph 1, under paragraph 1.2 and 1.3, which quoted as saying: “Ending with the purpose of implementing the demand in cash is also provided under the reliable document. The company “Cleaning” has the right to waste generators who don't pay payments to forward them to completion procedure. On the contrary with this legal basis any payment made by the Pristina municipality constitutes legal violations and groundless enrichment, and as citizens you have the right to follow legal or other ways because municipality actions have no legal basis”, Lushaku said of rtv 21, broadcast Periscope.
Capital officials, meanwhile, said they would again sit at a table with the cleaning company to find a solution and reach a clear and fair agreement, which would lower the uncertainty and fears of citizens.
At the beginning of February, the Pristina municipality instructed the capital's citizens that payments for the fate of waste will be realised through the Pristina municipality until a new decision. /Periscope/
