O V L- KLA with calls for stopping the concert with singers from Serbia: We're gonna have to get out on the street and stop this provocative activity.

The Association of Veterans of the KLA War, the Association of War Invalids and the Association of Witness Families express the deepest concern and indignation about organising a concert on May 5th in the Dragas municipality, with the participation of singers from Serbia, which has been warned by a group of Goran community in this municipality.

Through a media statement, it is noted that this event conflicts with the feelings of citizens of the Republic of Kosovo and with the very dignity of our state.

May 5th is sacred to the Albanian people, it's Nation Witnesses' Day. On this day, we humbly and proudly honor the child sacrifice of the best sons and daughters of the nation who fell for the freedom we enjoy today”.

For this reason, we consider the organisation of this concert with the participation of Serbian artists as a deliberate, unacceptable and deeply insulting provocation for the families of martyrs, for the disabled, for veterans and for all who have sacrificed for the country's liberation. Any attempt to relate our pain and sacrifice on such days is a serious violation of our national conscience. This initiative is a direct blow to our national values and our glorious history of resistance”, said further in the OVL-KLA response.

We also call on competent institutions to prevent the organisation of this event in its warned form and point out that if competent organs fail to take measures, “O KLA VL, SHIL and SHFD will be forced to take to the streets and stop this provocative activity for themselves”.
