KFOR Mission Commander Major General Enrico Bardoni hosted KFOR's Staff today at Camp Film City in Pristina, General General Guenter Schweider of Strategy and Operations at the German Defence Ministry (DEU).
KFOR alone has made news known, broadcasts Periscope.
Barudani and Schweider discussed views on various topics, including sustainable security throughout Kosovo, the situation of regional stability, and KFOR's efforts in supporting the EU-led dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade.
Major General Bardoni also congratulated Lieutenant General Schweider for the past DEU contributions to KFOR and regional stability.
“KFOR continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement at any time and impartially.
KFOR works in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union's Mission for Law Rule in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responseors”, the report said.
