The European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaya Kallas, on Sunday, will host an informal dinner with the foreign affairs ministers of partner Western Balkan countries.
According to the announcement, ministers will address key issues related to the Western Balkans' European integration and current security and regional co-operation challenges during this working dinner.
“During a working lunch, the ministers will discuss how to advance the EU's commitment with Western Balkan partners”, the report says, Periscope.
The EU chief has recently paid several visits to the Western Balkans, stressing the EU's commitment to the region's integration into European structures.
Kallas visited Tirana, where he met with Prime Minister Edi Rama. She praised Albania's progress in reforms needed for EU membership and underlined the importance of continuing them.
During this visit, an agreement was signed with the European Investment Bank for modernising the Durres-Rrogozhina railway line, a key project for military transport and furniture in the region.
During the media conference in Tirana together with Prime Minister Edi Rama, she has stressed that Kosovo and Serbia cannot move towards the EU without full normalisation of relations.
