Italian KFOR patrols along border with Serbia in Istog

Italian soldiers of the Regional Command in the West of KFOR mission carried out patrols along the border line with Serbia in northern Istog.

KFOR said border control is a daily engagement of KFOR units.

“Relation in this area is crucial to contributing to the preservation of security and stability”, KFOR broadcasts Periscope.

KFOR reiterated that it continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 to contribute to a secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement at any time and impartially.

KFOR works in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union's Mission to Rule of Law in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security reactors.
