Among those killed are said to have children, women, and older ones. Some of the wounded are in serious condition, broadcast Periscope.
Al Jazeera reported earlier that the attack had killed 15 people. According to broadcasters, the building served as a shelter for Palestinians who had been forced to leave their homes because of hostility.
On March 18th, the Israeli Army resumed military operations in Gaza, conducting intensive attacks in enclaves and thus breaking the ceasefire agreement that had been reached in January. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office stated the move was due to Hamas' refusal submitted by US mediator and special presidential envoy Steve Whitkoff.
According to Israeli authorities, the purpose of the operation is to ensure the release of all hostages held in Gaza. Hamas, on the other hand, blamed Israel and the United States for restarting military activities. /eo
