The license we enjoy today was paid at a great price. Many families lost their loved ones to Serbian state terror, which was aimed at destroying an entire people. The enemy spared neither infants nor children on mothers' laps, the elderly of the defenseless”, wrote Haradinaj.
He has commemorated the massacre in the village of Studenica of Istogu, where Serbian forces barbarously executed nine Albanian civilians -- eight Lipaj family members and one of the Zeqiray family. They were surrounded in the house, thrown into the courtyard, and killed in the vicinity, while their bodies were thrown into a barn near the house, which the enemy later destroyed to eliminate traces of crime.
Other massacres were carried out that same day in the Old Village of Ferizaj, where Serb forces killed seven members of the Zeka family and two of the Hoxha family.
Even today, after more than two decades, justice has not carried out its mission to punish the executions of these atrocities. The Serbian state must face its crimes,”, has finished Haradinaj./Periscopi/
