Haradinaj commemorates Commander Ilaz Kodra, co-wars fallen 26 years ago

In a post, Haradinaj also recalled the battle of Qafe Mullar, where he fought side by side with Ilaz Kodra on the day he heroicly struck Luan Haradinaj and was wounded Rafet Rama.

Today we commemorate the heroic sacrifice of Commander Ilaz Kodra and his 29 fellow fighters on the 26th anniversary of eternity. Ilaza and I were together in the Battle of Qafe Mullar on the day that The Lion was killed and Rafet Rama was wounded. On April 30th 1999, they bravely fought against several brigades of the invading Yugoslav Army, turning the course of history in favour of Kosovo freedom,” has written Haradinaj.

He also stressed that one day earlier he had remembered martyrs Yab demaliya and Bilal Mazrekaj, while today he participated in homazhes for KLA fighter Naser Shala.

Also, today, with colleagues and many fellow fighters alive from the Dukagjini Zone, we joined the family of the warrior Naser Shala to share the pain of dividing him from life,” he added.

In the end, Haradinaj has expressed gratitude to all martyrs and has honoured the memory of the late warrior Shala.
