The militant Islamic group has declared that it is ready to release all Israeli hostages in exchange for a “serious exchange of prisoners” and guarantees that Israel will end the war in Gaza.
The Times of Israel writes that Hamas is engaged in negotiations in Cairo with mediators from Egypt and Qatar two countries working together with the United States to mediate a sustainable cease-fire in the besieged enclave. “We are ready to release all Israelite captives in exchange for a serious agreement on exchange of prisoners, end of war, withdrawing Israeli forces from the Gaza Belt and the entrance of humanitarian aid”, taught to have said Taher al-Nunu, a senior member of the group, who again accused Tel Aviv of obstructing progress towards a ceasefire, says tov.
