Haxhiu stressed that since April 15th, Parliament has failed to be constitutionalised, initially due to opposition's refusal to vote for verification of MPs' mandates, and now because of its presidential name rejection, it broadcasts Periscope.
I am not very optimistic that the situation will change at tomorrow's session, as the positions of opposition subjects have been made public clear. For my conviction, the will to convert the Assembly is lacking and further to procedures for electing the” government, Haxhi said.
She added that responsibility for the constitution of the Assembly belongs to all political subjects, and not only to majority or Vetevendosje.
While for the government's election, responsibility falls on the mandater and the winning party.
Haxhiu recalled that the Constitution of Kosovo and the Constitutional Court's act give only the winning election party the right to propose the candidate for the Parliament's chairman.
According to her, the opposition is refusing not only its candidacy, but in some cases any other potential candidate.
“In this situation, the LDK has stated that it will not support either Albulen Haxhiun or any other candidate, while two other subjects have requests for other names”, Haxhiu concluded.
In this interview, Haxhiu has also talked about other topics, as well as the criticism of political parties, P DK, AAK's LDK.
