The coalition also aims to limit the Western Balkans' regulation, which so far allowed the arrival of about 50,000 unqualified workers annually. The number will be halved to 25 thousand. Migration policy was among the main topics of the campaign, due to the financial burden on municipalities. As a indicator of toughness, the Interior Ministry will pass the ruling Christian-Social Union (CSU) party.
What is the adjustment for the Western Balkans?
On January 1, 2021, Germany has entered into force the following regulation of the so-called <x0Reve for the Western Balkans. Through this regulation, the Federal Government of citizens from the six Western Balkan countries has created privileged access to the German labour market. This continues to remain valid for any kind of job service despite the known qualifications.
For incoming trips to Germany you need one to have a binding job offer from an employer in Germany and a national visa. For the free workplace, privileged candidates should not be available. Privileged candidates are German job seekers, or EU citizens. Moreover, wages and employment conditions should not be less favorable than those in another comparable employer in Germany.
If you have found a suitable job, ask your employer for a binding offer in the form of the employment Declaration.
