Israel has intensified attacks in Gaza since the end of the ceasefire with Hamas last month. In addition to daily bombings, Israeli authorities have banned the entry of imports, food and medical products on Palestinian territory since early March, as part of efforts to pressure Hamas to release Israeli hostages.
