Hoti stressed that the pain for missing persons from the war in Kosovo during the year 198-99 is continuing today.
“A people who carry pain even 26 years after, in particular of 1592 families still at war with Serbia finds our country on April 27, 2025, because they all go on every morning, every day, every evening, hoping to know something about their loved ones, and their fate is on their own knowledge that they've disappeared in April 2099, namely, at Serbia<1>, said Hoti in RTK broadcast Periscope.
He added that the fate of 1592 people has not yet been achieved, despite being able to compile two important documents through the EU statement, which is the declaration of missing persons, adopted on 2 May 2023, as well as the establishment of a joint commission mechanism chaired by the EU in December 2024.
“Recognising Serbia, we have not had great hope in the results from these documents or the commission, but our hope has been and remains even today is for the international community and our international friends to understand that Serbia is not a normal state of”, Hoti stressed.
