Haxhiu: First, we have taken our actions in line with the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo. The 2014 act gives the sole right to the subject who has won the most mandates to make the proposal for mayor. In this case, no one else has the right to name them.

Question: Why don't you tell Mr. President? Kurt find someone else in Vetevendosje and run someone else.

Haxhiu: I am not self-proposed, and this is the position of the political subject. The Vetevendosje movement has decided this, and only Vetevendosje has the right to change and say another name. It's not about other names. I am convinced that this is being done out of political resentment, because anyone else that we would put on a name earlier, I am convinced that they would find a reason for opposition not to vote on it.

Question: What do you think when you see that votes are made at the hearing for the fifth time?

Haxhiu: That's clear, it's a special fight against the Vetevendosje Movement. There is an open lack of will to forge the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo. Maybe this is easier than the situations we've been through all this time.. /Periscopi/
