On the eve of the 25th anniversary of AAKA, the Women's Alliance launches mobilization for local elections

At this meeting, it was stressed that the woman's empowerment is and will remain one of the Alliance's top priorities, viewing her as a steadfast pillar of political, economic and social development in the country.
In her pre-present address, Mayor Kukaj underlined “on the eve of the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, we honour a glorious journey stemming from the vision and leadership of Chairman Ramush Haradinaj, keeping alive the spirit of freedom, development and progress. The woman's role has always been crucial in this story and will remain equally important on our future journey. ”
Kukaj argued that the Alliance is committed to creating larger spaces for women's participation in decision-making, supporting women at every level, from local to central structures.
During the discussions, participants brought concrete ideas for strengthening the women's network, for increasing political influence and for intensifying activities in all municipalities, in the function of preparing for the upcoming elections.
Mayor Kukaj thanked all women for their dedication and determination, stressing:
