U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio called the Russian attack on the town of Summy, which left 32 people dead and over 80 injured, including children, reports Tch, Periscope.
“This terrible attack is a tragic reminder of why President Trump and his administration are devoting so much time to trying to end this war and achieve lasting peace”, Secretary Rubio wrote on the X network while expressing condolences for the victims' families.
On the other hand, the deadly attack was severely condemned by the European Union. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyeen said measures should be taken urgently against Russia.
