They have travelled from Kosovo to Tirana, but our police, even though they have begun following that in Morin, Kukes, they have not allowed the two people to follow the road, but they have intervened at a gas station, in fact, a country known between Leja and Fushe-Kruja by putting them in handcuffs. Within a year's timeline this is the third operation where arms traffickers from Kosovo were hit in our country, Periscope.

As learned moments after police intervention, two Kosovo Albanians were put in chains for arms trafficking. The intervention of police agents occurred at a gas station on the Milot-Fushe Kruje highway, after there the two traffickers stopped their Kosovo license plates, in which weapons were suspected to be concealed. Police have been following the grey car since the moment they crossed Morin's border, after receiving information that they will head towards Tirana with a view to trafficking weapons. Two people traveled, and they were arrested after two pistols were found in the front of the car.
Traffickers had tried to hide them well under the hood of the car, but during the search they were found and seized. It's two Belgian pistols of recent years, one of them a special model. Both pistols, according to police, would be sold in Tirana at a price of 10,000 euros. 2 detainees have not been co-operative with the police since at the interrogation hearing they refused to show where they would sell their weapons.

Through an official report, police suggested that “were cuffed by 2 Kosovo citizens, who allegedly trafficked the two pistols, aimed at selling to Tirana, worth about 10,000 euros. One of those arrested, Kadri Prush, turns out to have been sentenced to prison in Switzerland for drug trafficking, while he is also mapped for arms trafficking, from countries in Europe, Kosovo, Albania and beyond. Police do not rule out the possibility of involvement in arms trafficking while working on identifying them.
